A shuttle you have to plan for
- 7 EUR, 18 minutes, Savigliano station. That is the whole service, and it exists because the airport had almost no public transport before it.
- The reservation rule is the catch. A seat has to be booked at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure, subject to availability.
- Tickets come from Arenaways, online or by telephone. The airport's transport page also says you can pay on board, which contradicts the reservation rule, so treat booking ahead as the safe reading.
What Savigliano gives you
- Trains to Turin and towards Liguria call there, which is what turns an 18 minute bus into a real connection.
- The local Cuneo to Saluzzo to Savigliano line also serves it, and FlyTrain tickets can be bought combined with those trains.
- Timetables follow the flights, not a clockface pattern, so the shuttle you want is tied to your flight number rather than to an hour.
The other option
- Moeves runs an on demand shuttle to Saluzzo, Savigliano, Fossano, Mondovi and Cuneo, booked online or by telephone.
- On demand means booked in advance, again: nothing at this airport is a walk up service.
