The terminal is essentially in Andenes, a two minute ride. The bus that matters runs south down the island to Sortland.

Sortland is the regional hub for Vesteralen and the road junction for Lofoten and the mainland.
The island run is long. Andoya is about 100 km end to end, so the bus south is a proper journey rather than a shuttle.
Andenes is the whale watching port, which is why most people fly here.
Norwegian taxi prices are deregulated, so ask for the fare before setting off.

Sortland is the hub. It is the largest town in Vesteralen and the junction for onward roads to Lofoten, Harstad and the mainland.
This is not a short ride. Andoya runs about a hundred kilometres from Andenes to the bridge at the southern end, so the bus to Sortland is a genuine cross-country journey.

Andenes is the whale watching port of northern Norway, sitting beside a deep underwater canyon that brings sperm whales close to shore.
It is also the launch site of the Andoya Space Center.
Both are reasons this small airport has scheduled flights at all.
