- The airport runs additional buses towards Okayama station timed to international arrivals, from Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei and Kaohsiung.
- These do not appear in the published timetable. They leave a set interval after the flight lands, so go straight to the bus stop rather than checking the schedule and giving up.
Context
- Okayama station is a Sanyo Shinkansen stop, so the bus connects to the bullet train network to Osaka, Hiroshima and Hakata.
- It is also the junction for the Seto Ohashi line to Shikoku, which is how you reach Takamatsu.
- The airport is about 20 km north of the city, in the hills.
