Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) to Cologne and Bonn
The airport has its own ICE station beside both terminals, S-Bahn services round the clock, and a single Rheinlandtarif ticket to Cologne is 4.00 EUR.
- The airport has its own ICE railway station, immediately beside both terminals.
- That means high speed trains stop here, so Frankfurt and the Ruhr are direct without going into Cologne.
- S-Bahn, regional and bus lines serve it around the clock, from Cologne, Bonn, Bergisch Gladbach and the region.
- A single ticket to Cologne or Bonn is 4.00 EUR, fare level 1b on the Rheinlandtarif.
- An express bus links the airport with Bonn Hauptbahnhof.
- Children up to and including five travel free.
The station
- Cologne Bonn is one of the few European airports with an ICE station attached. It sits in the immediate vicinity of both terminals.
- Around the clock service by S-Bahn, regional trains and buses. A night arrival is not stranded here.
- Bonn has its own express bus to the Hauptbahnhof, which is more direct than the train for that city.
The fare
| Ticket | Price |

| Child, level 1b | 1.80 EUR |
| Short distance | 2.90 EUR |
| Single, level 2 | 5.50 EUR |
- Cologne, Bonn and Aachen are all fare level 1b, so the same 4.00 EUR covers a journey into either city.
