Nuremberg Airport (NUE) to the city
The U2 underground connects the airport directly with the Hauptbahnhof and the old town at price level A, 3.90 EUR for a single.

- For the old town, change at the Hauptbahnhof onto the U1 and get off at Lorenzkirche or Weisser Turm.
- A short distance ride is 2.10 EUR if you are only going a stop or two.
- Bus lines 30 and 33 run to Am Wegfeld as an alternative.
- The N12 night bus covers Friday and Saturday nights and the nights before public holidays.
An underground, not a shuttle
- The U2 runs to the terminal. Nuremberg is one of a handful of European airports with a metro line at the door rather than an S-Bahn or a bus.
- The airport is in price level A, the Nuremberg, Fuerth and Stein zone, so it costs the same as any other journey in the city.

- Buying in the VAG app is slightly cheaper than at the machine on most tickets.
- A day ticket for price level A or the whole VGN area is worth checking if you are moving around after arriving.
Getting to the old town
- Take the U2 to the Hauptbahnhof, then change to the U1 towards Fuerth Hardhoehe.
- Get off at Lorenzkirche or Weisser Turm for the historic centre.
- The trade fair is about 20 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof on the U1 towards Langwasser Sued.
