Kassel (KSF): line 100 is the one you want, but check the times yourself
NVV line 100 runs hourly every day from Kassel Wilhelmshoehe via the main station and Koenigsplatz to Calden. The airport's bus page is marked "Stand: 01.01.2018", so verify the times with NVV.
- Line 100 is the main airport connection. It runs from Kassel Wilhelmshoehe station via the Hauptbahnhof and Koenigsplatz to Calden, hourly, every day.
- Kassel Wilhelmshoehe is the ICE station, so that is the useful end for long-distance arrivals.
- The airport's bus information is dated "Stand: 01.01.2018". Check current times at auskunft.nvv.de before relying on it.
- Line 46 runs Calden-Fuerstenwald via Ehrsten and Meimbressen to Calden, connecting to the RegioTram at Fuerstenwald. Hourly Monday to Friday, every two hours at weekends.
- Line 47 runs Vellmar-Nord via Espenau and Schloss Wilhelmsthal to Calden, connecting to Tram 1 at Vellmar. Hourly Monday to Friday, every two hours at weekends.
- Line 130 runs Grebenstein via Calden to the airport and on to Volkmarsen, every two hours daily.
- Taxi from Kassel Hauptbahnhof is about 20 minutes, from Kassel Wilhelmshoehe about 30.
- Parking is currently only possible on P1, and it is free.
- The navigation address is Fieseler-Storch-Strasse 40, 34379 Calden.
- Some satnavs do not find that address yet. Follow the signs from the edge of Calden if yours does not.
- By car: A44 from Dortmund, exit Breuna; A7 from either direction, exit Kassel Nord, then the B7 to Calden.
The bus
- Line 100 is described by the airport as the main connection for air passengers. It runs from Kassel Wilhelmshoehe station via the Hauptbahnhof and Koenigsplatz to Calden, hourly, every day.
- Kassel Wilhelmshoehe is the ICE station on the Hanover to Frankfurt high-speed line, which is why line 100 starts there.

Taxi
- Kassel Hauptbahnhof to the airport: about 20 minutes.
- Kassel Wilhelmshoehe to the airport: about 30 minutes.
- Taxis wait in front of the terminal and at the stations. Book ahead with a local firm if you want a fixed transfer.
Car and parking
- Parking is currently only possible on P1, and it is free of charge. The airport flags this as an important notice.
- Satnav address: Fieseler-Storch-Strasse 40, 34379 Calden. Some systems do not have it yet; follow the signs from the edge of Calden.
- A44 from Dortmund: exit Breuna, via Niederlistingen to the B7 and Calden.
- A7 from Goettingen or from Giessen and Fulda: exit Kassel Nord, then the B7 to Calden.
- A49 from Marburg: to the Kassel-West interchange, then A44 towards Dortmund, exit Zierenberg.
