Guiyang Longdongbao (KWE): metro line 2, the station underneath, and coaches 901 to 905

Line 2 reaches the airport and downtown is about 20 minutes for 5 yuan. A high speed station sits under the airport. Five coach lines cover the rest.

  • Metro line 2 has its own station at the airport, Longdongbao International Airport.
  • Downtown is about 20 minutes on the metro, for around 5 yuan.
  • Longdongbao railway station is underneath the airport, an underground high speed station within walking distance.
  • Trains from there reach Guiyang North in about 20 minutes for 4 yuan second class or 7 first.
  • Five airport coach lines run, numbered 901 to 905.
  • 901 goes to Guiyang North railway station and Jinyang bus station, 08:30 to 22:00, 20 yuan.

Three railways under one roof

  • Guiyang put both a metro station and a high speed railway station at the airport, which is rare even in China.
  • Metro line 2 stops at Longdongbao International Airport station. It reaches downtown in about 20 minutes for around 5 yuan.
  • Longdongbao railway station is underground, directly beneath the airport, and is a walk rather than a transfer.
  • From that station, Guiyang North is about 20 minutes, at 4 yuan for a second class seat and 7 for first. Guiyang North is the high speed station for the rest of the country.
  • Line 1 of the metro also reaches Guiyang North, in about 30 minutes for 5 yuan, if you would rather stay underground.
