The metro

- The line reaches Wuxi railway station, the new district and Sumiao, which covers the city centre and the business districts.
- It is by some distance the cheapest way into Wuxi.
One airport, two cities
- This airport is officially Sunan Shuofang, and it serves Suzhou as much as Wuxi. Suzhou has no airport of its own.
- That is why the coach hall is organised by destination and platform, rather than as a single airport bus.
- Wuxi railway station: platform 1, 5 yuan, about 45 minutes, running 07:00 to 23:20 from the airport.
- Suzhou west bus station: platform 4, 10 to 20 yuan, about 70 minutes.
